 CONTROLLER  DESCRIPTION
GSC1  A very robust, single unit controller that has numerous accessories for communication, and expansion of I/O.  This controller has fully configurable alarms for the major monitored values of the genset and is able to interface with the ECU of electronic engines via CAN communication to display engine fault codes.  The user interface is very simple to navigate and easy to use either at the controller or via a computer connection.
 GSCP1  A higher level controller that has all of the functionality of the GSC1 and more, for single units as well as the ability to control multiple units in parallel.  This controller has the ability to network with up to 32 gensets via CAN bus communication for parallel operation as well as expand communication and I/O via CAN bus.  All alarms and I/O are completely configurable via the configuration software.  The user interface for this controller at the panel itself and via a computer connection is very user friendly.  The computer connection allows more advanced setup such as PLC functions available inside the controller.

 MODEL  OVERVIEW
 GSC1 RS232-485  Dual port extension module to allow for connecting to both RS232 and RS485.  This can be used for connecting to the internet bridge via the RS232 and for connecting to Modbus via the RS485
 GSRA1  15 Channel remote annunciator for use with either Clarke controller via CAN bus communication
 GSC1-USB  USB port module to replace the standard RS232 output connection with just one USB male Type B connection
 GSC1 IB-LITE  Ethernet module to replace the standard RS232 connection with just one Ethernet RJ45 connection.  This supports TCP, SMTP, HTTP, and Modbus/TCP protocols.  It gives access to web interface for basic monitoring and adjustment of the controller
 GSC1 AOUT8  Plug-in, interface module to provide 8 PWM analog outputs for driving VDO style gauges for engine values
 GSC-PTM  Digital and analog extension module with 8 binary inputs and outputs, 4 analog inputs (ohms, milliamps, millivolts), and 1 analog output (4-20 mA).  This unit can be networked on the CAN bus to give access to 4 units with one controller
 GSC-LBA  Low battery adapter that connects to the controller power supply to prevent the controller from shutting off from a voltage dip during cranking
 GSC1-BIO8  Plug-in module to provide 8 mixed binary inputs and outputs
 GSC-IB  Internet bridge (single set) which connects to controller via RS232 or over CAN bus and then connects to the internet through an Ethernet cable
 GSC-IOM  Digital and analog I/O add-on module (single set) with 8 binary inputs and outputs, 4 analog inputs (ohms, milliamps, millivolts), and 1 analog output (4-20 mA).  This unit is a single set unit only and cannot be put on the network
 GSC-MTU  Measuring transformer (1:1) used for galvanically separating measured voltage and controller, or when neutral is separated
 GSC-MTU-2:1  Measuring transformer (2:1) used for galvanically separating measured votage and controller, or when neutral is separated.  Used in 600V applications
 GSC-MTU-C
 
 Measuring transformer (1:1) used for galvanically separating measured voltage and controller, or when neutral is separated.  Capacitors are added in case of extreme distortions from harmonics

 GSP1 InteliVision  A remote, full color display for GSCP1 controller which is connected via RS485
 GSCP LSM+PMS  Load sharing and power management dongle is required ffor gensets in parallel for sharing loads and managing them.  One unit per genset controller
 GSCP-AVRi  Automatic voltage regulator interface module is required for interfacing with the voltage regulator when paralleling gensets together
 GSCP-AVRi-TRASNLV  External voltage transformer to power the GSCP-AVRi unit
 GSCP-DISPLAY GC  Remote display for GSCP1 controller which is connected via RS485
 GSCP-I-AOUT8  Analog extension module which provides 8 analog outputs per module which can be configured as 0-20 mA DC, 0-10 V DC, and PWM.  Up to 4 can be configured per controller
 GSCP-IB  Internet bridge (single set) which connects to controller via RS232 or over CAN bus and then connects to the internet through an Ethernet cable
 GSCP-IB3  GSCP-IB dongle allowing up to 3 controllers to be networked over CAN bus onto the internet
 GSCP-IB7  GSCP-IB dongle allowing up to 7 controllers to be networked over CAN bus onto the internet
 GSCP-IB15  GSCP-IB dongle allowing up to 15 controllers to be networked over CAN bus onto the internet

 GSCP-AIN8 Analog extension module providing 8 additional analog inputs which can utilize two wire resistors, 3 wire resistor, current, thermocouple, and voltage.  These can be expanded with up to 8 units over CAN bus 
 GSCP-BIN16/8 Digital I/O module providing 16 binary inputs and 8 binary outputs which are all galvanically separated.  Two pulse inpus are also provided.  Up to 6 modules can be connected to a controller.

You buy with confidence when you purchase Clarke Power Generation Equipment.  We offer a full one (1) year manufacturer's warranty with extended coverages available, if needed.

Clarke Power Generation units are designed and built with proven components installed in the package to insure performance and reliability. Any modification to these generator sets or components without prior written approval from Clarke Power Generation may void the warranty coverage and/or may void the third party certification of the engine.

Examples of modifications which could remove the warranty include:

  • Modifications to the air cleaner
  • Modification of the cooling system
  • Modifications of the electrical system
  • Addition of exhaust insulation blankets to engines
