CINCINNATI, OH Clarke Power Generation has launched a new product line of 5 mobile prime generators: RC60D, RC90D, RC115D, RC185D, and RC240D. All models, which are powered by John Deere Tier 3 engines, are designed with rental- and construction-focused features.

Building on the proven, prime- and standby-powered product lines, features were added to bring greater reliability and durability to the rental, construction and oil field market spaces. Maintaining the John Deere Tier 3 power plant, the frame was upgraded to 110% fluid containment with an integrated drawbar and torsion axle system. A single fuel cell is deployed with approximately 24 hours of full-load run time and an easy-to-drain feature. The enclosure is designed using powder-coated galvanized steel with welded corners to enhance rigidity and sound attenuation while still retaining maintenance access. Quiet? Of course! The entire line is under 70 dBa at full load.

All models are equipped with a voltage selector switch (excluding 240kVa) and Leroy Somer alternators with AREP technology to provide superior motor starting capability in a compact package. Clarke utilizes the digital ComAp controller which includes many customer-friendly features, as well as, the capability to easily integrate with any telematics system. To reduce running fatigue failure, radiators and charge air coolers are frame mounted. Torsion axles and the lowest center of gravity in the industry allow for outstanding towability.

In addition to the RC products, Clarke has an entire line of mobile products for applications with lower towing requirements and stationary generators from 30kW to 600kW. Many of the power plants can be rated as emergency standby, standby prime, or mobile prime. The RC product line is a welcome addition to Clarke’s current CE product line.
